Dave brings 20+ years of experience in B2B marketing, writing, and business strategy to his role as Director of Marketing and Communications with AC Lordi, a leading provider of accounting, risk management, business advisory, and search services for CFOs and their organizations.
His primary focus is to continually increase awareness of the firm and its services, position its consultants as industry experts, and develop new leads. He oversees all aspects of the firm’s website, print materials, internal blog, email marketing, social media, and content development.
His background includes a unique blend of marketing, writing, and accounting/finance skills. He began his career at a regional public accounting firm where he earned his CPA. Dave then relocated to the Los Angeles area joining the Home Entertainment division of 20th Century Fox as a financial analyst where he worked closely with marketing and other departments on budgeting and forecasting for the division and its major video/DVD releases.
Dave started Cooperson Communications to provide professional marketing and writing services to small and mid-sized businesses, as well as pursue other creative endeavors. He has worked on marketing and communications projects throughout the years that have included case studies, blogging, feature articles, PowerPoint presentations, sales proposals, consultant resumes, film and television writing, video game scripting, web copy, brochures, ads, and client deliverables.
Dave also helps run the marketing group for the Financial and Accounting Consultants Alliance (FINACA).
